Workshops & Classes

Classes are offered on demand and individual basis. Once certified, Access TV provides professional equipment which can be used to produce programs in our studio or on location.

Producer Orientation – This orientation session will introduce volunteers to the process of creating a program and having it shown on Access TV. It will explain the philosophy of Access TV as well as the responsibilities of the producer during creation and after the telecast. This is the “best place to start” when becoming involved with Access TV.
Cost: $25 (includes membership)

Studio Orientation – This is an orientation to the workings of studio television production. Learn how to operate studio cameras, audio mixers, and video switchers. Duties of a producer, director, technical director, audio operator, camera operator, and floor director will be discussed.
Cost: $10

Editing Orientation – This session will introduce you to the editing process, sometimes called “Post Production”, in which all elements of a program are brought together and assembled into a final “master” DVD. Video elements, audio enhancements, computer graphics, titles, and credits will be explained during this session.
