James "Cash" Curtis Contact Info: jcurtis@salinatv.org Cash has been involved in mass communications since middle school, when he worked part-time as an intern at Access TV, and later at a local radio station in Salina. After graduating from Salina Central High School, and later Brown Mackie College, Cash became a traveling musician, journeying across the United States before returning to Kansas. In the fall of 2013, Curtis joined the Access TV staff. After a stint as Production Assistant, he was named Manager of Programming & Community Relations in 2015. Curtis is the executive producer of Access' flagship program, "The Scene" (formerly "The Scene from Saline County"). In addition to Access TV, Cash is a national recording artist, who goes by the name "cash hollistah." Cash also teaches poetry & hip-hop in high schools & colleges around the state of Kansas. Curtis has served on the Salina Arts & Humanities Commission and Salina Youth Ministry Alliance, and has worked with local organizations such as the Salina Arts Center, Salina NAACP and Salina Shares.
