About Us

The mission of Community Access Television of Salina, Inc. is to build community by providing a forum for communication among Salina citizens through the use of electronic media.

Community Access Television is open to the public to allow citizens of Salina and Saline County, Kansas, to produce their own programs expressing their ideas, opinions, and viewpoints. Programming may be seen on channels 19, 20, and 21 on the Salina cable system. Volunteer Opportunities

The following is a listing of current volunteer opportunities at Community Access. If you are not certified to use Community Access' production equipment, here's information on our training classes.

Volunteers are needed to help with Strictly Salina- Strictly Salina is filmed on Tuesday afternoons from 2:00-3:00pm. We are in need of a crew! For more information, contact Community Access.

Wanted: Producers needed! The Stiefel Theatre is looking for a volunteer who is interested in putting together a program about a retired usher, and his oral history of the Stiefel. For more information, contact Community Access.

News Stories Needed for "Eye on Salina" - Eye on Salina is a monthly newsmagazine program which highlights issues and events in Salina. We are looking for 3-5 minute segments for this program. If you have an idea for a segment, please contact Community Access.

Non-Linear Editors Needed - We're looking for people who would like to edit some projects. A 2-hour commitment is required, and the Access staff will provide assistance if you don't have a lot of editing experience. For more information, talk with Corbin.
