About Us

The mission of Community Access Television of Salina, Inc. is to build community by providing a forum for communication among Salina citizens through the use of electronic media.

Community Access Television is open to the public to allow citizens of Salina and Saline County, Kansas, to produce their own programs expressing their ideas, opinions, and viewpoints. Programming may be seen on channels 19, 20, and 21 on the Salina cable system. July 17th-20th:
Salina is THE place to shop July 17-20. The entire city is having one GIGANTIC Sidewalk Sale. All Salina retailers have been invited to hold Summer Sidewalk Sales as one big sale. Downtown merchants are concentrating on Thursday, July 17. If you have any questions about the Salina CITY-WIDE Sidewalk Sale, call Lisa McDowell, Central Mall Management offices at 785-825-7733 or Phyll Klima, Salina Downtown, Inc. at 785-825-0535.

And Now This … A History of Broadcasting in Salina, presented by Ken Jennison, Public Service Director at SMG Radio. This summer’s Noon Coolers celebrate our town with various presentations focusing on the history of Salina. Noon Coolers are offered on most Wednesdays during July, from 12:15 to 1:00 p.m.. These free presentations are held in the Community Room on the second floor of the Museum. Bring your lunch if you’d like, relax, have a glass of water or lemonade, sit back and enjoy.
