About Us

The mission of Community Access Television of Salina, Inc. is to build community by providing a forum for communication among Salina citizens through the use of electronic media.

Community Access Television is open to the public to allow citizens of Salina and Saline County, Kansas, to produce their own programs expressing their ideas, opinions, and viewpoints. Programming may be seen on channels 19, 20, and 21 on the Salina cable system. From now on, the Volunteer Opportunity blog will be posted here. The reason for this is for a tighter knit bundle of information in one location. Instead of having the website, the blog and other things sprawled out over the internet, why not keep them in one central location for all people to access. So, with that in mind, here are a few opportunities for you all to consider:

August 22nd, 2008:
The 6th annual "Connections of the Heart" Greeting Card Premiere and Art Auction. This event is from 5:00p - 7:00p at the Christ Episcopal Church Parish Hall.

Oct. 3rd, 2008:
The second State of Kansas Senior Spelling Bee is being held at the Bicentennial Center at 8:30a.
