Individual Members contribute a minimum of $25 per year, although higher donation amounts are welcome!
Any person who is a resident of Saline County, or is employed in Saline County, who is in substantial agreement with the objectives of the organization as set forth in the Articles of Incorporation, shall be eligible for individual membership.
Members enjoy the following privileges:
* Vote in board elections and at annual meeting
* subscription to quarterly newsletter
* subscription to monthly volunteer newsletter
* may submit programming for air on Access (if a certified producer)
Organizational members shall contribute annual dues of $50. Organizational members are those organizations having an office located in Saline County, or serving or having as members a large number of City of Salina Saline County, residents, who are in substantial agreement with the objectives of the organization as set forth in the Articles of Incorporation.
This membership level will have the following benefits:
- subscription to quarterly newsletter
- vote at Annual Membership meeting and vote in Board elections
- allows up to two people from an organization to become certified producers upon completion of producer class (required to produce and submit programming)
- two 30-minute sessions per year in which staff will produce public service announcements (up to 5 minutes each) for the organization. Community Access Television normally holds “PSA Days” in May and October, although other times are available upon request. Additional sessions available at $10 per 30-minute session.
- Organization may hire Community Access Television to provide production services for up to two full-length prgorams and one 5-minute organizational overview program to be cablecast on the access channels.
A scholarship will be provided for any person who cannot afford the membership fee. The scholarship will consist of 5 hours of volunteer work for Community Access. When this volunteer work is completed, the membership will be considered paid in full.
If membership dues are received from November 1- July 31, membership shall be valid until the next November 1. If membership dues are received from August 1- October 31, membership shall be valid until Nov. 1 of the next calendar year. Membership must be current in order to be eligible to vote at the annual membership meeting.
