Producer Orientation ($25 class fee; includes membership)
This orientation session will introduce volunteers to the process involved in the getting a program created and shown on Community Access Television. It will explain the philosophy behind public access television, responsibilities of the producer during the program creation and the responsibilities of the producer after the telecast of the program.
This is the "best place to start" when becoming involved with Community Access Television. Once you are familiar with the duties and responsibilities of a producer, you will have a better understanding of what is involved with all of the other processes down the line.
Studio Orientation ($10 class fee)
This is a good introduction to the workings of the studio television production. Participants learn how to operate studio cameras, audio mixers and video switchers. We encourage volunteers to participate and get further experience by signing up to help on our "Tuesday Night Television" shoots!
